This could be the key to our promotion, if Forssell gets in the swing of things he will score some crucial goals I'm sure.

Great news if he is ready. I'd rather have a fully fit Fors for the last 5 games than a part fit one for 10 games but what do I know, I'm not a physio! |

to be honest i think we will see him come off the bench, let him settle in first instead of just throwing him into the first team. |

I reckon Forsell will come back properly (20mins+ as a sub) in 3 or 4 games and help us storm in to the Premiership with a bagful of goals.. Ever the optimist? :Blues: |

i would give him at least one more game before bringing him back, the next game is on the 14th against coventry so he should be back for the baggies game on the 18th. |

I like Forssell and am glad to see his back playing, but if you cast your mind back he did start the season for us and hardly set pulse's racing, in fact i seem to remember he was dropped to the bench, I'd love to see him fire us back in to the premiership, but its hard to see how his ability remains the same as it was a couple years ago. |

last time he came back though he was deemed ready but this time people within the club are saying he is way better in terms of fitness and sharpness. he himself says he feels better than he has for ages , so i hope to see him back very soon, ide love him to be back for derby. |

I find it hard to believe with his injury record they would have done that. |

I've heard the same - how is looking the best he has for 2 years (which isn't hard really) - I just hope it's true. Getting the Forse back for the last 11 matches is fantastic. touch wood. |

i still dont think he is quite ready for the vigors of the championship if we do play him friday i hope its just for 10 mins or so, just so he can get a run out and a round of applause we should ideally play him i the reserves for 2 more weeks then see where his fitness levels are at |

Definitely agree. On the current pitch at stans and against more physical players than the reserves it may do more harm than good to bring him back right away. He is such a talent that i'd hate to see us rush him back only for him to get crocked again. Patience is a virtue, and he may be much more effective if we can bring him in fr the last few games when he will be fresh and cause all the defenders that have played 40 odd games already a lot more fatigue than they already have!! **thumbup Good to see that nobody is getting too carried away, but fingers crossed it could be an important factor in the promotion race!! :) |

I agree entirely. Let's get him fully fit before rushing him back into the team. If he does come in not quite fully fit and match fit, then his peformances may suffer and people will be writing him off, as some have done already. |

If u want a properly fit forssell I wouldnt play him this season, keep him in the reserves for the moment we dont need him all 4 strikers we have at the moment in the squad are doing fine so whats the point in rushing him back. I would only play him this season if there was nothing to play for like if we already were up with a game to go or if we had no chance of going up automatically. I think it would be wrong if he came back within the next 2-3 weeks as I think having been out for so long 2-3 reserves games will not be enough, I think I'd give him at least 5-6 reserves games before he came back into contention. |

its a tough one cus he might not be ready yet, altho other than bendtner you dont see a real regular goal scoring striker...if we lose a few games and look poor than forssell imo should be tested again to see what he can do...personally feel forssell and bendtner could link up well..bendtner will need to run more tho as forssell has never been one to close down and pester...brucie cant win tho really he'll be shot down in flames if he puts him on the pitch and either looks poor or gets injured again or if he doesnt include him and we dont go up fans wil point to that decision costing us... |

..with two dodgy knees..would you really want to play on the St Andys pitch! As much as we need him..id like to think he should be saved until next season when the turf is a lot better. Remember Gary Ablett..his career was ended my a shocking pitch at selhurst park! |

Goalscorers: Mcsheffrey 16 (left winger) Bendtner 11 DJ Campbell 10 (most as sub) Jerome 7 (not a certain starter) Larsson 6 (right winger-not a certain starter) Clemence 4 (defensive midfielder) Jaidi 3 (centre half) Danns 3 (also hasnt started many games) + Vine who scored about 13 goals for a poor luton side. I think we have enough goals in us to cope without forssell in this division. |

Enough to mean that going up is still in our own hands and we are still in in an automatic promotion position. The reason the goals have dries up is down to one person and one person only (bruce) with the negative tactics. This is the same team and strikers that scored 5 against newcastle and earlier in the season and scored more than 3 goals in 4 straight games. |
